1st Annual Bring Your Dog To Work Day

Posted on September 12, 2016

A few days ago Kenroy Home hired a pack of new friends to help out around the office...while our four legged family members weren’t exactly helpful with designing new lamps and chandeliers, it’s safe to say that the whole team enjoyed Kenroy Home's 1st annual bring your dog to work day...and learned that our tiered fountains could easily double as water dishes in the process. In addition to hosting a pack of furry co-workers for a day, the Kenroy Home team was also ab...

Solid Solar Lantern

Posted on March 13, 2017

The recent streak of cold weather has generally kept me from enjoying my backyard lanai - instead I've been confined inside reenacting the type writer scenes from "The Shining". With the first burst above 70 degree temperatures in over two weeks, I pounced on the opportunity to go outside and enjoy cooking on my grill, and perhaps some light reading afterwards. Adventures In the Bulb Aisle

So...you’re thinking about, or just purchased a brand new Kenroy Home lamp or chandelier and now you must take that arduous walk down the ever expanding (in size and complexity) light bulb aisle at your local supermarket. We understand...this used to be an easy task - you’d walk in and purchase a few packages of light bulbs….”high wattage” for areas of the home that require extra light, and “lower wattage” fo...

Daylight Savings Time

Posted on February 23, 2017

Despite what that weather enabled rodent in Punxsutawney said, the spring season is just around the corner, and with it comes warmer weather, seasonal allergies, and parents everywhere desperately attempting to get their kids to maintain an 8:00 bedtime even though it's still bright and sunny outside. Of course I’m referring to Daylight Savings Time, where most of the continental United States sets their clocks one hour forward and enjoys the glow of the sun late into the evenin...

Reading with the Reeler Floor Lamp

Posted on August 30, 2016

A look around my house will prove my absolute love and borderline obsession with "tech-toys"...from the latest - thinnest laptop...to the sleekest new smart phone, my home is jam-packed with tech items. With this adoration for all things digital I still have yet to let go of my last remaining "tangible" vice...the book. Music lovers claim to hear the "warmth" in vinyl - book readers like the feel of paper, the experience of flipping the page, and the weight of a heavy volume. I have yet to...
